Teddy Bear Picnic

Teddy bears have been known to stimulate memories and improve communications with others and overall improves the quality of life for the Alzheimer /Dementia patient and their families. Senior Education Ministries (SEM) mission is to enhance the quality of life for ALL senior citizens and specifically developed a program to ensure investments were made in the lives of Dementia/ Alzheimer’s individuals through a special annual program.

This program (Teddy Bear Picnic) poses a community call to action for participation at local nursing facilities.
